Check Your Unit
Confirm your avionics model. NavCard GPS is compatible with the GNS 430, GNS 430W, GNS 530, GNS 530W, GPS 400W, GNC 420, and GNC 420W. Check the compatibility table below if you're unsure.
Get Your Kit
Order the appropriate starter kit for your unit type. Kit A for non-WAAS units, Kit B or C for WAAS-enabled units. The kit includes the USB programmer, the correct NavCard(s), and your first year of subscription.
Plug In the Programmer
Connect the NavCard USB programmer to any Windows, Mac, or Linux computer. The NavCard GPS software launches automatically. No installation required.
Select Your Update
The software displays the current AIRAC cycle and your subscription status. Click 'Update.' The software downloads the current FAA NASR data directly from our servers.
Insert the Card
The programmer writes the navigation data to your NavCard. The process takes approximately 3–5 minutes. A progress bar confirms completion.
Install in Your Aircraft
Slide the NavCard into the data card slot on your GNS unit. Power on. Your GNS unit will display the current AIRAC cycle date. Done.
Compatible Units
All GNS 400/500 series avionics are supported.
